Purpose of the role
To inspire and encourage all Lodge members to identify suitable candidates for Freemasonry:
• To support those who introduce potential new members to the Lodge.
• Co-ordinate the Lodge’s activities through the Members’ Pathway and particularly those from review and planning through to the candidate’s election and the development of a Lodge plan.
• To advise the Lodge committee, interview panel and the sponsors of potential new members regarding the procedures necessary to make sure that only candidates suitable to the Lodge are proposed for initiation.
• To have oversight of individuals and the Lodge’s morale and to assist in the development of increasing positive experiences for all members.

Safeguarding Team

Purpose:To ensure our Lodge is a safe, supportive and welcoming place for everyone.
The Radcliffe with Hemlock Stone Lodge (RwHSL)is committed to providing a masonic environment where all members are treated with respect and dignity, adhering to the masonic dictates of Truth, of Honour and of Virtue.

Almoner:

To ensure that every new member enjoys being a Freemason, understands what Freemasonry is about and becomes involved in and integrated into his Lodge both socially and ritually.

Communications Officer: See also the Appendices for further detail
Purpose: To provide a point of contact in the communications chain who has an up to date email distribution list of members willing to receive email information. This enables the PCO to send details of important activities for onward transmission to members, and for the LCO to let him have details of any special events which the Lodge wishes to distribute.
It also Provides the opportunity for the Lodge to communicate within, and to send reports and photos of their activities, for publication on the Lodge News page of the Provincial website, also for exceptional activities to be uploaded to the Freemasonry Today website.
